The royal wedding is just a month away – but you’re going to see Meghan Markle in a wedding dress much sooner than that.

Suits fans have been awaiting Mike Ross and Rachel Zane’s wedding for seven seasons now, and in next week’s season finale, their dreams will finally come true.

In a teaser for the double-bill finale, due to air on the USA Network on 25 April, Meghan’s character Rachel can be seen on the altar in a beautiful wedding gown, tying the knot.

Hey, at least she got some practice in before her big day with Harry.

In the short trailer, Mike – played by Patrick J Adams – tells Rachel they should get married, with Rachel replying: ‘I can’t believe it, it’s gonna really happen.’

The couple’s wedding is then seen in a beautiful room adorned with fairy lights and flowers – with Rachel wearing a full-skirted white gown with a black ribbon belted around her waist.

Mike is heard saying: ‘I’ve wanted to marry you from the second I met you. I love you, and I always will’; while Rachel says in her vows: ‘You are the husband I always wanted.’

This will be Meghan and Patrick’s last appearance at the show, with it being confirmed after it was announced that Meghan was engaged to Prince Harry that they would be exiting Suits in the season seven finale.

However, the show has been renewed for an eighth season without its leads.

Meghan and Harry’s wedding will take place on 19 May at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

And while we’ve been given no details about the gown Meghan will wear for the occasion, Victoria Beckham has ruled herself out as the secret designer.

Names including Ralph & Russo, Erdem and Roland Mouret have been floated around as the possible designers – and it has been claimed that the American actress could wear two dresses on the day.

A source told Vanity Fair: ‘She will have two dresses, one for the ceremony and another dress for the evening. The plan is for her to change after the ceremony so she can party the night away in something less restrictive.

‘Meghan can’t wait to surprise everyone, especially Harry.’

The Duchess of Cambridge wore two dresses when she married Prince William in 2011, donning another Alexander McQueen dress to the reception.
