Myron Means with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said a mama bear and her two cubs were staying in a tree in Booneville Wednesday.Means said the bears likely strolled into town Tuesday night looking for food, and was scared up the tree by a barking dog.Means said the sighting is not common for this time of year. He expects the bears to come down on their own and leave town.Means said the bears are not a public Safety Threat.
