13 guns lead to several charges after VIPER bust

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A large weapons bust executed by the Louisville Metro Police Department's VIPER Unit led to a number of charges against two men.

Terry Robards is charged with several counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property.

Rodney Valentine is charged with one count of burglary and one count of receiving stolen property.

Police were able to carry out the arrests due to a tip to go to Robards apartment located on Churchill Park Drive.

On Thursday night, officers moved in and said they recovered 13 stolen rifles, shotguns and pistols.
