RESIDENTS are being invited to a charity football match raising cash for good causes.
The Niki Savage Charity Shield will see Alcester Town Old Boys play Alcester Athletic on boxing day, December 26 at Alcester Town Football Club on Stratford Road, Alcester.
Kick off is at 10.30am.
Afterwards there will be a raffle and auction which will be held at the Bear Hotel, High Street.
The handing of the shield to the winning team will also take place.
All money raised on the day will be equally split between mental health charity Mind and Diabetes UK, the leading UK charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes.
