Halsey wishes she could bottle fans’ love after emotional breakdown mid gig

Halsey broke a number of fan’s hearts as she blasted out her song Sorry through teary eyes.

And now she’s thanked them for their support, by telling them she wishes she could bottle up their love.

Taking to Instagram the singer shared a bird’s eye view snap of her concert in Montreal, and reflecting on the performance in her caption.

Here she wrote: ‘This is the kind of love you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. I’d dab it on my wrist everyday like a sweet perfume. Montreal tonight (sic)’

Just last week she announced that she had split with G-Eazy after dating the rapper for a year.

But even though she had just revealed their break-up, the 23-year-old put on a brave face for her first concert since the split.

While singing her song Sorry, Halsey had to take a pause as she started to cry during the lyrics: ‘Someone will love you / But someone isn’t me.’

In a clip filmed by a fan, the Bad At Love songstress can be seen sat on the stage with her hand covering her mouth as tears stream down her face.

The crowd cheer in support, and she bravely continues her performance still hitting every note, despite her emotions.

Her fans were quick to take to Twitter in support of the singer and showered her with praise.

One wrote: ‘halsey cried during sorry and i’m crying i hate seeing her in pain my heart breaks for her (sic)’

Another added: ‘homegirl started crying … so I started crying … I love u endlessly @halsey (sic)’

Someone else said: ‘I hope halsey knows he doesn’t deserve her tears, she doesn’t need to feel sorry for anything she wasn’t at fault for. @halsey, we love u and we’re right behind u if u need us.

Halsey announced that she’d split from G just last week in a statement on her Instagram story.

She wrote: ‘I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart.

‘I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best.

‘Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.’

The pair were rumoured to have started seeing each other last summer and went on to produce their love anthem Him & I together.

Just days before they decided to call it off, G-Eazy revealed that the pair had been working on new songs in the studio together.

Talking to Billboard he said: ‘We were just in the studio the other night and we made a couple records. She’s one of the most talented people in music. I tell her this all the time like there’s only like six of you on the planet that are this good.

‘And she’s really rare! It’s just dope. I told you how much I love collaborating but when you get to collaborate with the person you’re in love with and share this experience of making a song and performing a song. And the person you’re sharing it with is that…that’s really dope.’
