Mad Men's Final Season Premiere, and More Picks to Watch, Read, Stream, and Listen to This Weekend

Friday is here, the weather is starting to make the final turn into spring, and we've got the return of not one but two of our favorite television dramas on the docket. Sounds like a recipe for a pretty fantastic weekend, if I do say so myself. Enjoy! WHAT TO SEE IN THEATERS Furious 7 The only seven-part series I've stuck with prior is Harry Potter, but the combination of an emotional and bittersweet tribute to Paul Walker and some of the franchise's best high-speed chase scenes make this final Fast and the Furious installment definitely worth seeing. In theaters April 3. WHAT TO STREAM The Beautician and the Beast This '90s Fran Drescher classic—where she plays a New York City beautician mistaken for a science teacher—is made for a night with girlfriends, wine, and heaping amounts of your favorite junk food. Available on Netflix. Life Partners I fell in love with this movie, starring real-life couple Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, from the first sight of this adorable trailer. And I intend to enjoy it with the combination stated above (girlfriends, wine, popcorn) this weekend, thanks to Netflix. WHAT TO READ First things first, go read The Girl on

WHAT TO STREAM

The Beautician and the Beast This '90s Fran Drescher classic—where she plays a New York City beautician mistaken for a science teacher—is made for a night with girlfriends, wine, and heaping amounts of your favorite junk food.

WHAT TO READ

First things first, go read The Girl on the Train and weigh in on our awesome book-club discussion, stat. If you've already tore threw Paula Hawkins' novel, move onto this suggestion.

Mademoiselle Chanel by C.W. Gortner I'm seconding Megan's recommendation: This enthralling rags-to-fabulous-riches story of Coco Chanel's evolution is the perfect novel to get lost in this weekend whilst dreaming of Paris. Also, a theme is emerging among this weekend's picks: It goes perfectly with a glass of wine.

WHAT TO ADD TO YOUR PLAYLIST

"Big Girls Cry" As spellbinding as Maddie's dance performance is, don't let it distract you from another addictive Sia song, this one off her 2014 album, 1000 Forums of Fear.

WHAT TO WATCH ON TV

Outlander spring premiere It's been a long six-plus months since that intense midseason finale of the time-travel drama, and now it's time to welcome back our other favorite Frank-and-Claire to television. (And be sure to check out Glamour's interview with Sam Heughan before the show!) Airs Saturday at 9 P.M. on Starz.

Mad Men final season premiere It's the beginning of the end, folks. So what else is there to do but relive all of Don Draper's hookups and then settle in for what is certain to be a wild final batch of episodes. But for this one, ditch the wine and fix yourself an old-fashioned. Airs Sunday at 10 P.M. on AMC.

__Have a lovely weekend!
