A McSherrystown man was arrested for breaking into a home and stabbing someone inside.
Police say Giovany Omar Gil, 25, broke into a home around 6:45 PM on Wednesday evening, and found himself in a physical altercation with one of the residents.
According to authorities Gil stabbed the victim in the leg with a knife, before running away and breaking the windows of a car.
He was eventually arrested and taken to Adams County Prison, where he faces charges of burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and criminal mischief.
