The filming of "NCIS" season 12 will begin this month, leading to the speculation that more spoilers would emerge soon.

Interestingly, one of the actors, Emily Wickersham, recently shared her perspective on bringing Cote de Pablo's Ziva David back on the show.

"We have to ask Gary (Glasberg, the show maker) about that," Emily disclosed to Digital Spy, when asked about bringing Pablo back as David. She further suggested it would be fun to work with Pablo.

Wickersham was seen in episode 9 of season 11. She played the character of Eleanor Bishop and applied to be an agent, when Ziva (Pablo) was hired. In season 12, Wickersham's character would be seen unraveling pages from her personal life.

Reportedly, Glasberg thinks Wickersham brings some fun stuff to the table and this is probably the reason why she has been brought back in season 12.

"Oh, well that's nice to hear," Wickersham told TV line, "As I said, she (Bishop) was written so well. But from the beginning, I set about finding those little quirks and looking for little things to bring out in her."

"So yeah, for example, sitting on the desk was something I did (in the audition) that was brought into each episode," she explained, "Then they brought in the funny food associations, where she'll remember what she was eating when she was studying certain facts, which I thought was quirky and cool."

It is also speculated that Bishop's husband can appear in the new season. Wickersham recently hinted about the emergence of her character's husband at the 54th Monte Carlo TV Festival, while promoting "NCIS" Season 12, as per the reports.

Meanwhile, Pablo's return is highly anticipated by the fans. When she left the show in episode 2 of season 11, it was speculated that she was not happy with the remuneration. However, Pablo quoted personal reasons for leaving the show.

"The idea of leaving was not something I toyed around with for a long time. It was an overwhelmingly hard thing — at times terrifying. Leaving "NCIS" was not planned," Pablo has said to TV line earlier about her decision of leaving "NCIS."

"NCIS" season 12 is slated to come this September and would continue airing on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m.

Regulars including Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) and Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer) are also set to return.
