Glen Burnie Motorcyclist Dies In Pasadena Crash

A Glen Burnie motorcyclist struck a pickup truck, suffering fatal injuries in the Pasadena crash, police say.

PASADENA, MD — A Glen Burnie motorcyclist struck a pickup truck Sunday afternoon, suffering fatal injuries in the Pasadena crash, Anne Arundel County Police say. The crash happened on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard near Waterford Road in Pasadena.

A 2004 Honda motorcycle driven by Kerry Eugene McKenzie, 57, of Glen Burnie, was westbound on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard when it crossed the centerline and struck a Ford F250 pickup which was southbound on Waterford Road. Police say McKenzie was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the truck — David Paul Shiflett, 25, of Pasadena — was not hurt.
