Kenny Stills cuts TD celebration short to check on security guard he ran over

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills ran a precise route through traffic to pop open for a touchdown in the second quarter of his team’s game against Detroit.

He was pushed as he headed out of bounds and ended up leveling a stadium security guard who had her back to the field as she scanned the crowd.

That’s not something ever NFL player would do. It’s clearly the right thing to do … but still.

One thing that makes Stills different, you may recall, is that he’s one of two Dolphins who kneels ruing the national anthem (along with Albert Wilson). Prior to Eric Reid’s return to the NFL, Stills was the torch-bearer for Colin Kaepernick’s protest.

And Stills also knows how dangerous catches in the back of the end zone can be.

Probably time to make some changes, especially if there’s so little room between the back line and the wall.
