In the Santa Cruz Mountains, the seasonal concerts at the Mountain Winery are under way — and there’s a new lineup of food options to match.

Global Gourmet Catering of San Francisco has become the exclusive culinary team for the venue. Executive chef Robert Grubbs, along with Marcus Colbert, the executive chef of concessions, and Yigit Pura, the executive pastry chef, have created a number of new menu options. The company handles menus for high-end events at the War Memorial Opera House, among other centers.

Updated menus are available at all of the dining spots at the Saratoga venue, including the Mountain Winery restaurant, the Plaza Concessions, the Tasting Room, the Winery Deck and the Suite and Club Masson Level.

At the restaurant, Chateau La Cresta, a $79 prix fixe menu shows off Grubbs’ and Pura’s expertise with selections such as roasted bavette steak with wild greens, salmon with cassoulet, vadouvan-spiced cauliflower bisque, Negroni creamsicle and upside-down passion fruit and raspberry tart.

A wood-fired pizza oven, now starring on the Plaza Concessions level, is putting out 870-Degree Margherita pies with fresh buffalo mozzarella and a Zimmer’s Butcher Block with pepperoni, bacon, salami and house-made Italian sausage.

Other new selections: pibil tacos made with roasted sour-orange pork, truffled macaroni and cheese, and meat and cheese plates.
