A Russian master will put an exclamation point on the Symphony Silicon Valley’s 2017-2018 season in San Jose.

An all-Tchaikovsky program featuring his Slavonic March, Piano Concerto No. 1 and Symphony No. 4 will be presented twice this weekend: 8 p.m. Saturday, June 2, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3.

Acclaimed American pianist Stephen Prutsman will be the featured soloist, and Japan’s Tatsuya Shimono, who made his debut with the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, will conduct the program.
