BRIDGE CITY, Texas — A week after the Bridge City 8 year old All-Stars advanced to the District 32 Championship with a win over Groves National, the 9 year old team accomplished the same feat by downing Groves, 16-11.
The BC 8's now wait for the dust to settle between Mid-County rivals in the elimination bracket. Nederland will host Port Neches tomorrow night after eliminating Port Arthur American, 15-11. Groves National will travel to the survivor of the Port Neches and Nederland grudge match on Wednesday.
Bridge City will host the District 32 title game Thursday night at 7.
