New Kids on the Block to headline The Mixtape Tour with Debbie Gibson, Salt-N-Pepa

Multi-platinum-selling artists New Kids on the Block announced Monday that it will join 1980s and ’90s pop stars Debbie Gibson, Salt-N-Pepa, Tiffany and Naughty by Nature for a 53-city North American tour in May.

The Mixtape Tour begins May 2 in Cincinnati and concludes July 14 at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale. . There are two other Florida dates: July 12 at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Coliseum and July 13 at the Amway Center in Orlando.

NKOTB's hits include "Step by Step," "Hangin' Tough," NKOTB is Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood.

Debbie Gibson's first single, "Only In My Dreams" reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1987. Her other hits include "Shake Your Love," "Out of the Blue" and "Lost In Your Eyes."

Tiffany found commercial success after touring in shopping malls. Her version of "I Think We're Alone Now," a song originally made popular 20 years earlier by Tommy James and the Shondells, was her first single. Another song — "I Saw Him Standing There," her version of the Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There" — reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Salt-N-Pepa will join New Kids on the Block, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany and Naughty by Nature on The Mixtape Tour in 2019.

Grammy Award winners Salt-N-Pepa won best rap album in 1995 for "None of Your Business." Other hits include "Push It," "Let's Talk about Sex" and "Whatta Man" with En Vogue.

Naughty by Nature won best rap album in 1996 for "Poverty's Paradise." The hip-hop trio's hits include "O.P.P." and "Hip Hop Hooray."
