MAYVILLE, N.D. - Verne C. Thompson, 89, Clifford, N.D., died Friday, May 31, in Luther Memorial Home.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 6, at Norman Lutheran Church in Clifford. Burial will be in Norman Cemetery in Clifford. Military honors will be provided by Galesburg American Legion Post 210 and North Dakota Military Funeral Honors.
