A New Fab Foursome

While the chart-topping R&B group New Edition is pondering and planning a reunion tour, four members are teaming up for a new musical experience called RBRM. Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins will drop a parade of hits from various stages of their careers at the Red Rock Resort’s Sandbar pool stage on Sept. 7.

“We move as a crew and we stay together. We don’t do it like, you do your stuff and I’ll do mine. It’s all intertwined,” says Bivins. “It’s a great night moving between each other’s music and it’s what we do, all the high energy and hit records people have grown to love. We’re coming at you like a 12-round boxing match with nothing but blows.”

All the Vegas: Adam Steck

“My first foray was doing raves and house parties in the cornfields of Iowa. It was called Ravestock in 1996 and there were thousands of people in the middle of nowhere. It was really cool and fun and I just thought, this is what I want to do. This is my calling. That led into other things and I got into the world of promoters and Bill Graham was who I wanted to be. He was the man and I was just infatuated with his career. The first show I did in Fairfield (Iowa) was someone who was an opening act at Woodstock, Richie Havens. That was my first concert, at 21 years old in the old high school auditorium, and it sold out. So I knew, this is it, this is what I wanted to do.” For more conversation with Las Vegas producer and SPI Entertainment creator Adam Steck, visit allthevegas.com.
