LAKE COUNTY >> Scottish folk singer Jim Malcolm returns to Lake County to perform music from his brand new CD ‘Spring Will Follow On’ as well as other favorites from his past CDs.
Malcolm is an accomplished singer and songwriter and plays guitar and harmonica as well. He recently added trumpet to his musical skills. Malcolm lives in Scotland and tours extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Malcolm sings songs steeped in Scottish history and tradition by such famous writers as Robert Burns and Jim Reid.
The concert is Friday, February 2, at the Lake County Arts Council Gallery located at 325 N. Main St. in Lakeport. The concert starts at 8 p.m. This is a benefit concert for local community radio station KPFZ 88.1 fm. Tickets are $22 with KPFZ members receiving a $2 discount.
