Police catch man accused of taking photos under woman's skirt at Publix in Titusville
A Central Florida man is under investigation by three law enforcement agencies after his arrest on suspicion of taking pictures up a woman's skirt at a Publix in Titusville.
Authorities in Titusville said they received a huge response from the public after they revealed what happened in the store.
The information they received led them to Kyle Hnatkiewicz, 27, of Port St. John. Police said he matched the picture taken inside a Titusville Publix of the video voyeur.
"From what the witness observed, he just leaned over, reached under the skirt and was able to use the camera at that point," Lt. Tyler Wright, of Titusville police, said.
Police believe Hnatkiewicz did this in multiple locations and to multiple women.
The Cocoa Police Department and Brevard County Sheriff's Office are investigating him for the same alleged behavior in other places, including a Walmart on Clearlake Road.
Hnatkiewicz is charged with video voyeurism.
"He confessed to all the incidences. From everything I gather from our detectives, he was apologetic about it," Whrite said.
He could face additional charges from the other jurisdictions.
