Dr. Brock Holt (John Stamos) can be Dean Cathy Munsch’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) savior. The synopsis for Season 2, episode 10 of “Scream Queens” reveals that Dr. Holt is going to perform a dangerous surgery on Dean Munsch to save her life.

As revealed in Season 2, episode 2, titled “Warts and All,” Dean Munsch was diagnosed with Kuru — a rare, incurable neurodegenerative disorder which was prevalent among the Fore people of Papua New Guinea in the 1950s and '60s. As Chamberlain Jackson (James Earl) put it, it’s a disease that cannibals get after they eat people. Although Zayday Williams (Keke Palmer) told Dean Munsch in the episode that there’s no cure to the disease, the folks at C.U.R.E. Institute apparently discovered a surgery that could cure her.

The big question, however, is whether Dr. Holt would be able to successfully perform the surgery on Dean Munsch. Although Dr. Holt did a very great job performing a heart transplant on Anna Plaisance (Amy Okuda) and removing her parasitic twin while using just his left hand in Season 2, episode 7, titled “The Hand,” the operation necessary to save Dean Munsch may be a lot more complicated.

In addition, the hand transplant that Dr. Cascade (Taylor Lautner) performed on Dr. Holt last episode appeared to be unhelpful, as the new hand attached to his arm also seems to have a murderous nature.

Elsewhere in the season finale, titled “Drain the Swamp,” the Green Meanie sets its final plan for revenge in motion as Hester (Lea Michele) makes a bold move to secure her future.
