HoneyFire Barbeque Co. is now open in Bellevue.

The newest barbecue restaurant in town is the creation of an award-winning competition pitmaster.

Shane Nasby, along with his wife, Angela, and business partner, Ben Claybaker, debuted HoneyFire Barbeque Co. Monday at 8127 Sawyer Brown Rd. in the One Bellevue Place development.

Nasby earned a name for himself in the competition barbecue circuit, and he later went on to launch a catering service. This is his first brick-and-mortar restaurant.

HoneyFire Barbeque Co. is now open in Bellevue.

The HoneyFire menu features smoked meats with HoneyFire’s original housemade sauces and habanero-infused local honey. Highlights include Texas-style Brisket seasoned only with salt and pepper and flavored by hickory smoke; and the Southern Shine with hickory-smoked hand-pulled pork, fried green tomatoes, housemade pimento cheese, candied bacon and original HoneyFire sauce on a warm bun.

Sides include White Queso Mac and Cheese and Hoosier Corn Pudding.

The restaurant has a full bar with adult sodas, signature cocktails, craft beer and wine. There is a large outdoor patio and garage doors open to the full bar.

HoneyFire Barbeque Co. will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19 to Nov. 25. Beginning Nov. 26, standard hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

HoneyFire adds to the list of new amenities in fast-growing Bellevue. The $268 million One Bellevue Place brought a slew of restaurants, stores and a movie theater to the area, in addition to apartments, hotel rooms and senior housing units.
