There's a pretty big part of us that wants to be mates with This Morning's Holly Willoughby – and it's not just because of her relationship with Phillip Schofield. It's because when the moment calls for it, she's not afraid to speak her mind.

Which is exactly what she did in the wake of Wednesday night's (February 21) BRIT Awards, where a host of celebrities walked the red carpet with white roses in honour of the #TimesUp campaign against endemic sexual harassment, discrimination and abuse.

But despite using the occasion to show solidarity with the many women, and men, across the world who have spoken out about their distressing experiences, Holly and a number of famous faces soon found themselves the subject of a gross paparazzi practice.

In a candid Instagram post, Holly shared photos taken of herself, Abi Clancy, Louise Redknapp and Rita Ora as photographers tried to 'get a photo up their skirts', and called the media out for double standards.

"At the beginning of the night we held white roses and walked down a red carpet full of the hope and pride that comes with the #timesupcampaign," she wrote.

"[A]t the end of the night, cameras were held low to get a photo up our skirts... times apparently up on #timesup 😔"

Just last week, more than 190 actors from the UK and Ireland signed an open letter demanding change and revealing their hopes to make #TimesUp a global movement.

The letter, signed by the likes of Emma Thompson, Thandie Newton and Emilia Clarke, also called attention to the new regulatory body, the Justice and Equality Fund, which has been set up to provide a network for expert advice, support and advocacy organisations across the UK.
