Chalk up another early kickoff for the Spartans.

Michigan State's game at Maryland on Nov. 3 is scheduled for noon and will be broadcast on ESPN2, it was announced Monday afternoon.

The Spartans opened the season with a program-record three straight night games but the game at Maryland will be their sixth consecutive afternoon start - five noon games and a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Penn State.

Michigan State (4-3, 2-2 Big Ten), which is coming off a 21-7 loss to Michigan last week, will host Purdue (4-3, 3-1) on Saturday (noon, ESPN) before playing at Maryland (4-3, 2-2). The Spartans have a 7-2 advantage in the all-time series against the Terrapins, including a 17-7 victory in East Lansing last year.
