Robert C. Wolfe, Jr., 79, of Bird-in-Hand, PA passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Bird-in-Hand, he was the son of the late Robert C. Wolfe, Sr. and Dorothy (Kurtz) Wolfe.
He was a 1953 graduate of East Lampeter High School. Robert was self-employed and worked along with his father in their family business. Robert enjoyed playing cards, going to horse races and traveling to FL.
He was a member of Bird-in-Hand United Methodist Church, and he proudly served in the US Army.
Robert is survived by four cousins, Judy Andrews wife of David of Bird-in-Hand, Cindy Grill wife of Greg of Adamstown, Shirley Hendershott of Bird-in-Hand and Kenneth Mellinger husband of Betty Lou of Lancaster.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12Noon on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA. Interment will be in Bird-in-Hand United Methodist Church cemetery. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
