TANEY COUNTY, Mo. – Sentencing is set for August 28, 2018 at 9 a.m. for Curtis E Mosby who entered an “open plea” of guilty on Wednesday.

Mosby was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving without a license.

The two day trial is set to begin today in the Circuit Court fo Taney County.

On May 14, 2016, Mosby was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving without a license.  After investigation, troopers learned Mosby had six prior DWI convictions and his license was revoked with a 10-year denial.

Mosby could face up to 30 years or life imprisonment in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the DWI charges and up to 7 years for diving while his license has been revoked.

An “open plea” of guilty means there is not agreement with the prosecutor as to what sentence Mosby will receive.
