Iowa State has added a high-level recruiting target to its defensive line.

Willis Singleton, a three-star defensive tackle out of Gurnee, Illinois, announced his commitment to the Cyclones via Twitter on Monday. He was also considering Louisville, Illinois and Cincinnati.

Iowa State offered in February and had made him a priority target since, getting him on campus for unofficial visits in March and June.

247Sports ranks Singleton, who checks in at 6-foot-1 and 300 pounds, the No. 1,126 prospect in 2020 and the No. 83 defensive tackle in the class. According to his Hudl profile, Singleton recorded 50 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and eight sacks during his junior season at Warren Township High School.

Singleton becomes the Cyclones' 16th known 2020 recruit.
