Mudslide Cancels Sounder Service In Edmonds

Sound Transit is advising commuters to take buses to Seattle or Everett on Monday.

EDMONDS, WA - A mudslide was blocking train tracks between Everett and Edmonds Monday morning, forcing the cancellation of Sounder North trains. Sound Transit is advising commuters to take express or Community Transit buses north to Everett or south to Seattle.

Here are the alternate bus routes:

Everett-Seattle: Take ST Express Route 510 @ Bay C1 departing every 10-15 minutes

Mukilteo - Seattle: Take Community Transit Route 417 from Hwy 525 & Front St. departing at 5:49 am, 6:21 am, 6:51 am, 7:21 am and 7:53 am

Edmonds-Seattle: Take Community Transit Route 416 at Edmonds Station Bay 2, departing at 5:45 am, 6:15 am, 6:34 am, 6:55 am and 7:42 am

Everett-Mukilteo: Take Everett Transit 18 at Bay D2

Everett-Edmonds: Take ST Express Route 532 at Bay C3 to Ash Way P&R
Transfer to Community Transit Route 116 at Bay 2

Mukilteo - Edmonds: Take Community Transit Route 113 at Hwy 525 & Front St to Lynnwood TC
Transfer to Community Transit Route 130 at Bay C4
