Books-A-Million Celebrates Teachers During Educator Week with Classroom Discounts and Giveaway Opportunities

Books-A-Million is devoting the week of October 10 through 16 entirely to teachers with Educator Week, giving them a 25% discount on classroom items, free educational materials, and a chance to win a $300 Books-A-Million gift card. An Educator Week kick-off event will take place from 2-4 pm on October 10 at all Books-A-Million stores. During the kick-off event, teachers can register to win a $25 Books-A-Million gift card and get free educational materials for their classroom.

For the first time during Educator Week, Books-A-Million is partnering with Mary Osbourne of Magic Tree House books. Teachers who attend the kick-off event on October 10 will have the opportunity to get a free Magic Tree House tote bag filled with teaching guides, resources, and giveaways while supplies last.

“I am joining Books-A-Million this year in a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to our teachers for making a difference in students’ lives,” said Mary Osbourne, creator of the Magic Tree House book series. “I wish all teachers a wonderful school year, and hope they enjoy the benefits that Educator Week provides.”

To register for the $300 Books-A-Million gift card, all teachers have to do is visit Books-A-Million’s Facebook page and share the story of why they became a teacher. The gift card can be used for online or in-store purchases.

On top of the kickoff event and gift card giveaways, Books-A-Million Educator Card holders will save an additional 25% on select in-store items purchased during Educator Week. There is no charge to sign up for a Books-A-Million Educator Card, teachers just have to bring their school ID to the store and they can register during checkout. Cardholders save 20% on their classroom materials purchase at Books-A-Million throughout the year.
