Fundraising ideas, Kids' Scanner Appeal

BBC Sheffield and The Children's Hospital in Sheffield have joined together to make a difference to thousands of children and their families across South Yorkshire.

The BBC Sheffield Kids' Scanner Appeal aims to raise £500,000 for a new CT scanner for The Children's Hospital.

Many people have already donated money to the appeal, so thank you. Various amounts of money have been donated, from 20p to £50,000; just give what you can.

Mrs Woodhouse in Mexborough sold jam to raise money and St. Paul's Church in Monk Bretton raised £250 at a line dancing event. Whether it is a large group of people getting together, or you making a difference on your own - it all helps.
