Location: 1022 Main St., Darlington - Date: Friday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. - Suggested Donation: $10-Adult, $5-Youth.
Amazing guitarist and award-winning singer-songwriter Dave Nachmanoff tours as Al Stewart's ("Year of the Cat", "Time Passsages") lead guitarist and accompanist, and often as his opening act, from venues as far ranging as the Royal Albert Hall in London to The Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. As a youth he performed with folk legend Libba Cotton ("Freight Train"). He has shared the stage with Cheryl Wheeler, America, The Pogues, Steve Forbert, Alison Krauss and others. Dave's visit to this venue will be the first U.S. stop after his spring European solo tour. His latest CD, "Spinoza's Dream", due to be released on May 6th, features fantastic musicians, all of whom played on Al Stewart's classic albums. (www.davenach.com)
