TOWIE's Gemma Collins has finally got her man after boyfriend Rami Hawash proposed on Christmas Day.

The couple are now engaged after car salesman Rami planned quite a sweet proposal - by popping a gorgeous pear-shaped diamond ring in her Christmas pudding.

And it appears the Essex fashionista didn't hesitate to say yes as she took to Twitter on Thursday to tell fans: 'Very excited to announce that I got engaged yesterday I am very very happy RamTech_ I love you best Xmas pudding x' - followed by a picture of the ring wedged in the Christmas dessert.

Things have clearly got serious between Gemma, 32, Israeli bornRami, 37, after she moved into his Essex bachelor pad earlier this year.

And earlier this year the mechanic reportedly asked Gemma's mum Joan Collins for permission to marry her voluptuous daughter.

Congratulations have been pouring in from her castmates for what will undoubtedly be a huge white TOWIE wedding.

Sam Faiers ‏tweeted: 'So happy for you both congratulations @missgemcollins @RamTech_ so amazing, what a lovely surprise love ya lots x'.

Ferne McCann gushed: 'Congratulations @missgemcollins & @RamTech_ the ring is absolutely beaut.'

While Elliott Wright and Bobby Cole Norris ‏added their congratulations too.

However the pair, who have been dating since 2011, have had more than their share of ups and downs and not all the tweets were overwhelmingly positive.

And one twitter user wrote: '@missgemcollins @RamTech_ I am very happy for both of you but you have split up many times and Arg will always get in the middle.'

Earlier this year Gemma not-so-cryptically wrote: 'Be careful girls when man uses you to gain fame and money and then when they can't get it they turn.'

She also posted a picture of herself and ex, James Argent, saying that 'this was real love.'

Hopefully the drama is now all water under the bridge as the reality star and Splash contestant prepares for her big day.
