The Little City® name and brand were created to capture the essence and aspirations of the City of Falls Church, one of Virginia’s smallest independent cities with nearly 14,000 residents, located about six miles from Washington, D.C. The brand was developed by the Falls Church-based advertising firm of SmithGifford for the city’s Economic Development Authority (EDA). The trademark was secured with assistance from Erik Pelton, a local attorney, trademark specialist, and EDA vice chairman. For more information, contact Rick Goff at rickgoff@fallschurchva.gov or Erik Pelton at emp@tm4smallbiz.com.
