Mt. Washington issues boil water advisory

MOUNT WASHINGTON, KY (WAVE) - Mount Washington's Water and Sewer Department has issued a boil water advisory for the areas of Maple View Drive to Halls Lane.

Residents in these areas should boil water for three minutes before drinking or cooking with it and turn off automatic ice makers during this advisory and dispose of the first 2 or 3 batches of ice after the advisory is lifted.

This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
