JACKSON — Veteran police officer George Brewster Walker of Fryeburg, Maine, was sworn in as a part-time officer for the Jackson Police Department on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Walker fills a personnel gap created two months ago by the resignation of part-time officer Michael Chapman, who now works for the Carroll County Sheriffs Office.
