PROSPECT, Ky. — One woman died after a wreck on US 42 in Prospect early Sunday, June 9.
Paula Morales Garcia, 21, was driving eastbound at 6 a.m. when she crossed the center line on a curve. Her car then struck another car traveling westbound.
Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene by the Oldham County Coroner's Office. The driver of the other car was transported to University Hospital. His condition is unknown.
Oldham County police said they have not determined any contributing factors at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oldham County Police Department at 502-222-1300.
