JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Elizabethton quarterback Bryson Rollins is the 2021 Watauga Orthopedics-Champion Chevrolet Player of the Year.

This past season, Rollins passed for 1,784 yards and went 125–209 for 23 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. He also carried the ball 247 times for almost 1,552 yards and 22 rushing touchdowns for a total of 3,336 yards and 45 touchdowns — the second-most in Tennessee history.

And after all the votes were counted, the winner of the People’s Choice Player of the Year was Cloudland running back Seth Birchfield with 49.6% of the vote (2,051 votes).

Second place: Landon and Devin Ramsey from Unaka (22.5%)
Third place: Bryson Rollins from Elizabethton (10.9%)
Fourth place: Mason Gudger from Greeneville (10.4%)
