A new clip from the Season 10 premiere of Fox's Bones shows Brennan (Emily Deschanel) stopping at nothing to exonerate her husband Booth (David Boreanaz) from jail.

Brennan seeks justice in a new clip released via E! News, showing the quirky detective blackmailing a federal prosecutor named Mr. Brady.

She comes in with evidence about various offenses on the part of those prosecuting Booth, including "witness tampering, accepting bribes, money laundering to name a few."

Brennan also threatens, "If you tell anyone about this or Booth is harmed in any way, all the information I have will be used against you."

Booth will have been in jail for fourth months when Bones returns for its tenth season. Meanwhile, he and Brennan will not have touched each other in all of that time.

Meanwhile, E! News has also revealed that actress Nora Dunn will be returning for Season 10 as Brennan's rival, Tess Brown.

Deschanel revealed to the publication, "She's so funny. She plays a rival crime novelist who's not a scientist. She's my rival with books and we go to a forensics convention and that's a big one."

It is not clear when Dunn will be returning and for how long, though Deschanel's comments suggest that she will only be guest starring in one episode.

Bones Season 10 is set to premiere Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
