Cypress Semiconductor Q2 Profit Tops Estimates - Quick Facts

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (CY) reported a second quarter net loss attributable to company of $90.05 million or $0.27 per share, compared to profit of $9.53 million or $0.06 per share, last year. Adjusted net income per share attributable to Cypress was $0.15, for the quarter.

On average, ten analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.13 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased to $484.78 million from $183.60 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $487.50 million for the quarter.

The company noted that the results for the second quarter of 2015 include Spansion operations for the full quarter.
