COEYMANS — Authorities say an autopsy will be conducted to determine the identity of a man's body that was found along the Hudson River outside Albany.

Police tell local media that the body was found on the river's west bank Wednesday afternoon by CSX railroad employees working on a bridge near the Thruway in the town of Coeymans, just south of Albany.

Officials say they couldn't immediately determine the age of the man or how long the body had been near the river.

The body was found near where a college student from the Rochester area was last seen. Authorities say 17-year-old Connor Trapatsos of Fairport, a freshman at College of Saint Rose in Albany, was last seen on the afternoon of Oct. 15 in nearby Selkirk.
