HIGH POINT, N.C. – A family is morning after the family pet mauled their 3-year-old child to death overnight.
WGHP reported the family pet, a Pit Bull Terrier, attacked the toddler in High Point, North Carolina, and is now in an animal shelter.
According to the report, the child was taken to the hospital but did not survive.
Authorities have not released the child’s name.
Officials have yet to confirm if what will happen to the family pet.
