Global alternative asset manager Ares Management, L.P. (ARES) and GE Capital International Friday said their joint venture has provided a 187 million pounds for the acquisition of Open GI, a UK-based software company, by Montagu Private Equity. The acquisition was primarily funded via the ESSLP Unitranche facility.
Michael Dennis, Partner in the Direct Lending Group at Ares Management, said the current financing is the 11th one completed within the ESSLP and is also the largest to date.
