The Oklahoma City police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who tried to kick in the front door of a northwest side home.Surveillance cameras captured video of a barefoot suspect wearing only underwear. The video shows him trying to break into a home on North Youngs Boulevard near N.W. 31st Street around 3:40 p.m. last month.The homeowner said he didn’t hear the man trying to break in.“I didn't know anything until the next morning until I went to the door and I was like, ‘Why is there sunlight coming through that door?” Robert May said.May found his front door to have a full-length crack.Video released by investigators showed the man giving the door two swift kicks before running off.“He had quite a bit of force to kick in the door because this door is a pretty old door,” May said. “It’s solid wood so he used quite a bit of force.”Police said nothing was was taken from the home.Anyone who can identify the person in the video or have any information call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
