The first season of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" has wrapped and of course it brought lots of drama, fighting, tears and backstabbing. It also ended with one cast member getting fired. "Love & Hip Hop" creator Mona Scott Young recently did an interview with Vlad TV and dished on Yung Berg's sudden exit as well as firing Benzino and Althea from the Atlanta show.

Young also tried to explain what made her keep Joseline Hernandez for another season.

"Benzino and Althea, I think, are very much aware of what transpired. I wish them nothing but the best," she said. "[I hope] the two have a wonderful wedding and beautiful life together and that they took full advantage of the opportunities reality TV can bring."

Benzino and his fiancée were let go shortly after the crazy Season 3 finale of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta." The two got into a fight with Hernandez and her husband Stevie J. While most of the cast members alleged that drugs played a part in Hernandez's violent behavior during the reunion, Young said the "Puerto Rican Princess" was provoked.

She explained to Vlad TV that fans didn't get to see everything that happened backstage and she believes a lot of what transpired off camera spilled over onto the stage once filming resumed.

"What we witnessed was an explosion of pent up emotions that had been building based on interactions that had been happening on and off camera," Young said. "We only shoot for a finite period of time, so people only get to see what the production schedule will allow. There were a lot of things that transpired between that group off camera... Unfortunately for Joseline, she handled it in a less than tactful way... Everyone has their limits. That's not to excuse it, but it happened."

As far as Berg's exit from the franchise, Young said his firing came directly from the head honchos at VH1. He was let go from the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" cast following the Season 1 reunion taping for allegedly beating up his girlfriend and costar Masika Tucker.

"A lot of times emotions get the best of them. I was not there, so I cannot speak to exactly what led to that," Young said. "I know that he does feel badly."

"The network decided that was an absolute position that they had to take... I will miss him... I loved his personality," she continued. "I loved his sense of humor. I think he was a great addition to the show."
