TVLand's 'Younger' renewed for second season

"Younger," the TV series based on Montclair author Pamela Redmond Satran's novel, has been renewed for a second season, TVLand announced today.

The show, from "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, stars Broadway's Sutton Foster as Liza, a 40-year-old woman who reinvents herself -- okay, lies about her age -- to start over in the publishing business after spending the last two decades or so raising her daughter in suburban New Jersey.

It co-stars Debi Mazar as her best friend, Miriam Shor as her demanding boss, Hilary Duff, as as her co-worker and guru in the ways of millenials, and Nico Tortorella as Liza's twentysomething beau.

The first season finale will air June 9 at 10 p.m.
