'I am afraid': Queer As Folk's Gale Harold obtains restraining order against ex-girlfriend after she tried to 'hit him in the head with a jar of coins'


Queer As Folk star Gale Harold has been granted a restraining order against an ex-girlfriend after telling a judge she tried to strike him in the head with a jar full of coins and he was afraid of her.

The 44-year-old actor portrayed sexually promiscuous Brian Kinney on Showtime's Queer As Folk during its five-season run starting in 2000.

Harold and former girlfriend Danielle Saklofsky have had a tough break-up with each obtaining a restraining order against each other.

The restraining order against Saklofsky was granted after Harold told a judge, 'I am afraid,' according to an article on Sunday by TMZ.

Harold in court documents claimed that he tried to break up with Saklofsky and she told him, 'I will never let you leave me.'

The actor also claimed that Saklofsky attacked him a few days later outside a restaurant and struck him after yelling, 'You cannot leave me, I will destroy you!'

He also claimed that actress Saklofsky tried to hit him in the head with a mason jar filled with coins.

Saklofsky in her restraining order against Harold claimed he grabbed her by her pony tail and slapped her.

Both sides also have been arguing about Saklofsky's size and weight.

Harold in his court documents said she was five-feet, five inches tall and weighed 145 lbs.

Saklofsky in her court filing said his 'physical attributes are wrong' and claimed she was five-feet, seven inches and weighed 120.

The court ordered that both stay 100 yards away from each other.
