MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The next artist announced to appear at the Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach is one of South Carolina's own: The Marshall Tucker Band!

Two other South Carolina artists were announced Wednesday: Outshyne and Ricky Young, two young, up-and-coming artists. North Carolina native Mo Pitney joins Dee Jay Silver and John King as the other artists announced to join the lineup.

“It was important to us that the CCMF schedule include artists from the Carolinas, specifically South Carolina, in return of the warm welcome and accommodations we have received from the Myrtle Beach community. With more headlining artist announcements to come, ticket sales are even better than expected, and country music fans are excited about the CCMF experience in general,” said Bob Durkin, President of Full House Productions.

The three-day music festival being held June 5 to 7 will feature some of the biggest names in country music, including Lady Antebellum, Cole Swindell, Colt Ford, and dozens more artists. Earlier this month, Full House productions announced a kick-off concert on Thursday, June 4, headlined by Sam Hunt. Anyone who purchases a ticket to the three-day fest before April 25 will get free admission to the

Kick-Off Concert.
