CBS TV schedule for 2012-13 announced; see complete fall lineups for ABC, NBC, Fox and CBS

ent_051612_ashton_kutcher.jpgAshton Kutcher arrives at the Barnstable Brown Derby party on Friday, before the 138th Kentucky Derby. The actor will return to CBS' "Two and a Half Men" in a new timeslot on Thursday nights.

All four major television networks -- ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC -- have unveiled their 2012-13 television schedules.

CBS announced their fall TV lineup on Wednesday, featuring seven new shows: four dramas, two comedies, and a Mark Burnett reality show called "The Job." Highlights include "Vegas," a '60s drama starring Michael Chiklis and Dennis Quaid; "Friend Me," a comedy about working at Groupon starring Christopher Mintz-Plasse (a.k.a. McLovin' from "Superbad"); and "Elementary," a Sherlock Holmes-inspired series starring Jonny Miller as the sleuth and Lucy Liu as his sidekick.

"Two and a Half Men," which is bringing back Ashton Kutcher in the role replacing Charlie Sheen's character, will move to Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. after "The Big Bang Theory." Also being shifted is Simon Baker's "The Mentalist," which will now air Sundays instead of Thursdays.

CBS also cancelled Rob Schneider's short-lived "Rob," as well as long-running shows "CSI: Miami" and "Unforgettable."

ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel offered jabs for all four major networks on Tuesday, according to The Washington Post.

"We don't know what we are doing," he joked about ABC's lineup. "We have no idea what people want to see. Why is this so hard for you to understand? Remember last year, that show [about cross-dressing men] 'Work It'? You know we were kidding about that. That was a joke."

Kimmel criticized Fox for giving $15 million to Britney Spears for "The X Factor" when Paula Abdul never saw the same sized paycheck. He also summed up NBC's new schedule: "Spinning chairs and a monkey. This truly is The Golden Age of Television."

And as for CBS' lineup, he jibed: "Raise your hand if you ever said to anyone, 'Did you see what happened last night on 'NCIS'! It's never been said."
