Second PUC examinations uneventful in DK, Udupi

MANGALORE: Second PUC examination in basic mathematics, optional Kannada and home science subjects held in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada was uneventful on Wednesday. All 137 students registered for basic mathematics in Udupi district appeared for the examination in their respective examination centre.
In Dakshina Kannada district, 223 out of 227 candidates registered for optional Kannada, 37 out of 39 students registered for home science, and 690 out of 697 registered for basic mathematics wrote the examinations, while the rest were absent.On March 20, examination will be held in chemistry and business studies from 9am to 12.15pm.
