Needham Resident Named to Alzheimer's Association Board of Directors

Margie Levine is also a member of the association's Leadership Council and the co-chair of The Longest Day event.

The Massachusetts-New Hampshire chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association has named Margie Levin, of Needham, to their Board of Directors.

“I am excited to be a part of a very talented, passionate and energetic board, who want to make a difference,” said Levin. “The Alzheimer’s Association brings together so many families, that have experienced this challenging journey and current families like mine that hope for a world without Alzheimer’s.”

Levin has worked for Coca-Cola since 1988 and currently a national retail executive for the company. Before starting with Coca-Cola, Levin worked at Frito Lay and Kellogg. Over the course of her career, she has received awards for selling process, and marketing and management at all three companies.

Levin became involved with Alzheimer’s Association after her mother was diagnosed with the disease two years ago. She is currently a member of the association’s Leadership Council and the co-chair of The Longest Day event.

As a native of Mexico, Levine also assists the chapter with Latino outreach.

“Margie brings invaluable expertise to our board of directors,” said Jim Wessler, president and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter.
