Polaris Industries Inc. (PII) reported second quarter EPS of $1.42 Tuesday morning, up from $1.13 in the prior year period. Analysts expected EPS of $1.39. The company also increased its full year EPS from continuing operations forecast to between $6.48 and $6.58, from prior guidance of $6.30 to $6.45. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $6.49.
Polaris Industries gapped open sharply higher Tuesday and is now up 10.02 at $143.20 on above average volume. The stock is now challenging resistance, trading at a 3 1/2 month high.
