Even Donald Rumsfeld gets a pat down when he flies.

The former defense secretary was spotted getting the once-over from TSA security agents as he passed through Chicago’s O’Hare Airport this week, according to TMZ.

Rumsfeld reportedly took the procedure in stride, smiling broadly and even waving to a group of soldiers who were dressed in military uniforms.

Several people at the airport Wednesday recognized him and said he was “very nice” throughout the intimate check, sources told TMZ.

Rumsfeld was cleared by TSA agents and allowed to board his plane with the rest of fellow passengers.
